The Philosopher’s Tones announces auditions for the 2026 season. We are seeking all vocal parts, including those who can sing multiple vocal parts. Auditions will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The deadline to request an audition is October 3, 2026.

Audition Process
Please prepare the following audition pieces (your voice part only): Silent Night, Joy to the World, Angels We Have Heard on High, In Dulci Jubilo, and Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming. The arrangements will be sent to you via email with your confirmed audition time.
Current Philosopher’s Tones members will be participating in the audition process; you will be singing with them. All selections may not be covered during your audition, but please be prepared to sing any of them.
Please note: If you are accepted into the ensemble, mandatory music rehearsals will be held on October 17 & 31 and November 14 & 21 at 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Bethesda. A tentative rehearsal is scheduled for November 20 at 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
